It’s almost time for Farm Camp registration for our 6th year of camp, and somehow it never stops feeling brand new. I hope I never become dismissive of the incredible privilege and joy it is to have the opportunity to offer this camp! Every year I’m nervous. Every year I’m in awe. Every year we grow. Every year is the best year yet. And I truly believe year six will be no exception.

Farm Camp is so special! I say it all the time, that Farm Camp is the most wonderful time of the year! It’s where muddy shoes, wide eyes, and real-life learning come together. It's where screens aren't even thought about and fresh air and dirt under the fingernails are what children want more of. It’s where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and kids get to experience what it means to care for animals, the land, and one another. We cannot wait to welcome your children back to the farm this summer. So here are all the Farm Camp 2026 details - we've got new offerings, a larger age range, and new themes! Please make sure to read it ALL!

🕓 After Care Option (Week 2 Only)

For families attending Half Day Camp during Week 2, we are offering After Care!

This means your child will participate in Farm Camp programming until noon, and then have supervised childcare available until pickup from 4:00-4:30 PM.

  • After Care Cost: $150

This is a great option for families who need a longer day while still participating in our Half Day programming. This is a new offering this year, so we're experimenting with one week to start. Children will need to bring their own lunch and an afternoon snack.

🌻 Farm Camp Is for Everyone

It is our deepest desire for Farm Camp to be accessible to all children. Through our scholarship fund, we are able to provide accommodations for campers with disabilities by hiring additional staff to ensure a safe, joyful, and inclusive experience. Our goal is to integrate all children together while providing the support each camper needs to thrive. We can’t promise we can accommodate everything, but we can promise we will try. And “everything” is always what we are aiming for.

We will do our best to work with parents and guardians to make sure we have a specific staff member that is the right fit for your camper; whether that be a child with developmental or intellectual disabilities like Autism, a child with limb differences, a Deaf or hard of hearing child, a Blind child or child who experiences low vision, we want to learn more about how we can provide an accessible experience for all children.

When you register, there will be a place to indicate that you’d like to request accommodations for your child. From there, Sarah and Brandon will connect with you personally to talk through how we can best support your camper and find the right staff fit for them.

🚜 And a sweet reminder for our Half Day families: you are always welcome to stay and enjoy the farm while your child is at camp. We know we live out in the country, so instead of making the drive twice, many parents choose to hang out on the porch during the morning. Some bring their laptops and work using our Wi-Fi, some bring a book, and some simply soak in the peace and quiet… or as close to “quiet” as it gets with 60 free-range kiddos joyfully running around the farm. It’s a small window of time to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and be part of the Farm Camp magic. (This option is available for Half Day Camp only and not during Full Day Camp.)

🗓️ Mark Your Calendars

Now is the time to:

  • Coordinate carpools with neighbors

  • Decide which weeks your grandkids are coming to stay with you

  • Compare calendars with friends

  • And prepare for registration night

Registration opens Monday, February 9th at 7:30 PM.

We have a feeling these weeks are going to go faster than ever this year, and we are so excited to see familiar faces and welcome new ones to the farm. Year six… here we come.
