Join Us for the Ag + Art Tour in Newberry County – A Day of Farms, Art, Music, and Mouthwatering BBQ!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM – you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind free on-farm event as part of the South Carolina Ag + Art Tour, the largest free farm and art tour in the country!
Since 2012, over 150,000 visitors have enjoyed this self-guided tour that combines the best of local agriculture, artisan craftsmanship, music, and rural life. This year, Newberry County is proud to host an incredible lineup of local artists, farms, food, and family-friendly fun—and you’re invited!
🎨 What You’ll Discover at Our Farm Stop:
We’re excited to welcome an amazing group of local artisans and creatives who will be showcasing (and selling!) their work throughout the day:
Persimmons – Unique, hand-painted wood earrings, leather patch hats, and beautifully crafted painted journals. Persimmons has been an artisan at Bowers Farm for Ag+Art for many years! My famous Farm Camp earrings have all come from Persimmons!
Khloe & Calluna – Hand-poured soy candles and rustic home décor that smells (and looks!) like comfort. We're so excited to have Khloe & Calluna returning to the farm!
Newberry County 4-H – Youth activities designed to engage kids ages 5-18 with hands-on fun and learning. Mallory, our Newberry County 4h agent is excited to meet folks, not matter what county they're from, to share more about 4h opportunities!
Lolo’s Bakery – Artisan breads, cookies, colorful macarons, and delectable pastries you’ll crave long after the tour. Wow, my mouth is watering just thinking about this!
Michael Naughton – Original farm and garden-themed artwork, plus kids’ painting activities. We're so excited to have Michael back at Bowers Farm! His artwork can be found in many places in our home, including our Airbnb!
The Idlewilde Co. – Watercolor and acrylic paintings, illustrated journals, stationery, and thoughtfully curated books.
Puzzle Pop Popcorn - Delicious gourmet popcorn to snack on as you travel or save for movie night!
Wilde Rose Farm - Learn about their unique Summer Camp opportunities for children and adults!
Small & Co. Properties Team at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Midlands Real Estate - It was trips out to Bowers Farm that first showed Lauren and Chris the beauty of the Newberry area when they first started looking for land to start their own homestead, and now they help others do the same! They'll have a seed planting station, worm bins, and sweet treats! And don't forget to enter their giveaway!
Gypsy Wind Farms - Luxurious soaps and salves made just down the road from us, right on their farm in Blair, SC!
🌿 Don’t Miss Our Greenhouse!
While you’re visiting, be sure to stop by our on-site greenhouse, which will be open during the event! Browse a wide variety of vibrant flowers, vegetable starts, hanging baskets, and other garden-ready plants. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just looking to add a splash of color to your porch, there’s something blooming for everyone.
🍽️ Come Hungry – We’ve Got the Grill Hot!
Our famous BBQ sandwiches and sausages will be sizzling all day. If you’ve heard the phrase, “Best BBQ I’ve ever had!”—yep, they were talking about ours. Come early, come hungry, and get ready to eat like a local. And don't forget your cooler so you can stock up on our pastured pork products to take home! You can even place an order ahead of time and we'll have it ready for you when you get there - just select "Ag+Art Pick-Up" at checkout!
